2024 Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition

The "2024 Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition," with its "Painting and Calligraphy" category, is divided into six classifications: "Ink Wash," "Gouache," "Calligraphy and Seal Engraving," "Oil Painting," "Watercolor," and "Printmaking." This year, 930 works vied for recognition, with 62 selected by the judges for exhibition. To echo the spirit of this year's "Painting and Calligraphy" theme, the "2024 Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition" collection features brushstrokes and lines as the overarching design, paired with the materiality of Xuan paper to reflect the diverse mediums of the award-winning pieces. The selected works this year exhibit a wide range of creative styles, encompassing not only natural landscapes and expressions of inner emotions but also innovative pieces that reflect on the essence of art or address social issues. These works not only honor traditional artistic values but also forge new paths with contemporary spirit and originality.
