Embroidered patches are often called fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery appliqués. However, most require ironing to adhere them to fabric or to cover holes. Hi-hello embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They can be applied to smooth surfaces beyond fabric, making them ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique together! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using Hi-hello embroidered patches is simple: ▪️ On smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ On fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery. Iron for 20-25 seconds, moving back and forth. Once cooled, it will be firmly attached. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing with a machine or by hand will also secure the patch to fabric! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing a fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're unsure, it's recommended to use a sewing machine or hand-sew the patch in place to avoid damaging your fabric with high heat! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Hi-hello embroidered patches have a strong adhesive. They are unlikely to fall off when applied to regular smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron and sew for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, embroidered patches can withstand machine washing and are unlikely to come off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive on Hi-hello embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend confirming the placement before sticking. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidered patch? The strong adhesive may leave some residue upon removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaning agent, please check if it's suitable for your item's surface material to avoid damage! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as heat can melt the adhesive, making it stickier and harder to remove!
