Bracelet with old Indian silver, Shan carnelian, ancient agate, old Chin silver and Orissa brass, blue and white beads

A bracelet crafted by connecting old Indian silver, Shan carnelian, ancient agate, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and blue & white beads. The centerpiece charm is antique Indian silver, dating from the 19th to early 20th century. We believe its unique luster will emerge with frequent wear. At its center is depicted Bhomiyaji, a legendary hero from Rajasthan, India, riding a horse. Its teardrop shape creates a beautifully elegant line when worn! (Dimensions: approx. 1.7cm length, 1.3cm width - including the loop.) The oval, orange beads are carnelian, once used by the Shan people (Myanmar). While the exact period is unknown, they are vintage pieces over 50 years old. These small carnelian beads showcase beautiful striations. (Vintage carnelian dimensions: 1cm length, 0.6cm diameter) Adorning the bracelet are white, bun-shaped beads of ancient agate. These were excavated from the Indus River basin, spanning regions like Pakistan and India, and are approximately 2000 years old. Though small and charming, their beautiful banded patterns are clearly visible. The blue and emerald blue beads are antique "Indo-Pacific beads." The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, remarkably from around the 10th century – making them over 1000 years old! The white beads are old Indian beads. Their worn texture offers a unique patina, a testament to their history of being worn for many years (circa 19th-20th century). Although cleaned, the black areas may gradually fade with wear, revealing more white. We hope you enjoy witnessing their aging process. (Bead size: 3-4mm) The壺-shaped silver beads flanking the old Indian silver centerpiece are old Chin silver, heirloom pieces from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women for necklaces and display a distinct wear and endearing patina. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern pieces can be stylish too...). These beads are truly rare and highly prized! The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare antique beads from the Orissa state of India. The clasp is adorned with lapis lazuli, its pyrite glittering. (Lapis dimensions: 1.2cm diameter) The beads forming the loop are Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! The thought of each one being hand-crafted is quite profound... ◇Karen Silver◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to have very high purity. Connected with waxed cord, it may feel slightly stiff initially but will become supple with wear. This is a thoughtfully curated bracelet, with each material possessing its own distinct presence.
