We value its relaxed, natural appearance that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As it is woven on a shuttle loom over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably "weaving irregularities," which may appear as minor "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough quality control at the factory and by carefully selecting fabric sections during cutting. Even if found, we use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them completely. We hope you will appreciate these weaving irregularities as a sign of the craftsmanship from the old shuttle loom and as part of the bag's unique charm.
