Inspired by my pet Chinchilla cat, this series of works combines the cat's likeness with the facial masks found in traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage, specifically Nuo opera masks, used in ancient sacrificial rituals. Drawing inspiration from various elements of flora and fauna in nature, each piece is meticulously crafted by the artist, from conception to creation.
