This is entirely different from high-quality imitations also called "Grade A"! (smiles) What makes jadeite captivating are its translucent, icy clarity, the flow of its color, and its unique shapes, making each piece one-of-a-kind. The better the translucency and color, the higher the price; even slight variations can drastically alter its value. It is not possible to distinguish genuine from fake jadeite with the naked eye.
