The handles of these canes were typically crafted from silver, ivory, agate, or other precious materials, sometimes inlaid with gemstones. Many cane companies offered bespoke designs for their affluent clients to meet their specific needs. Although fewer people use gentleman's canes today compared to that era, seeing a cane in the hand of a sharply dressed individual, much like in the Kingsman films, creates a very harmonious look. This gentleman's cane was made in 1897. Hukin & Heath, a British silverware manufacturer established in the 19th century, was renowned for its unique innovative designs and techniques. This cane was likely a collaboration between the company and artisans specializing in cane craftsmanship. The top of the cane features a round shape polished from the Tagua nut, a special fruit from Africa, also known as vegetable ivory.
