His occupation is a chimney sweep, clearing soot from chimneys. And then there's Hesoguma, the bear with a belly button, who works as a chimney sweep's assistant, helping Chimchiminey. Chimchiminey and Hesoguma are the best of friends. On their days off, they enjoy their lives by gathering mushrooms and berries, taking walks with their forest friends, and baking sweets. Occasionally, they sneak into the human world to pilfer sweets or play pranks. Watching them from afar is the One-Eyed Monster! The Tear Monster. Despite its scary appearance, it's very kind. It feeds on human sadness. It tries to cheer up people who are sad or crying by giving them delicious sweets and bread. There are also characters like Hesloath and Hesocats that make quiet appearances. These works are all themed around such tiny, tiny worlds where they live.
