Gathering Glossy PET Tape 5M

2026 [ #Gathering ] | 5 cm x 5m | 100 cm loop | PET tape The second installment of our 10-year collaboration, co-created with Shiwu stationery shop. Featuring cherished handwriting by Jiu Jiu and memo pads designed by Siyun Studio over the past decade. The textures of rubbing, folding, and tearing symbolize the passage of time. "10" can be separated into "1" and "0." These two digits can simultaneously represent beginnings and endings, suggesting that a decade can be both a conclusion and a fresh start. Therefore, we invited Jiu Jiu to use "Ten Years," "1," "0," and "Beginnings and Endings" as inspirational themes for poems and sentences. - "拾掇" (shí duó), meaning to gather, collect, tidy, and organize, expresses the compilation of thoughts and inspirations. The raw materials for thought and inspiration come from the daily gathering and organizing of life. Jottings are simply records of this process on paper readily at hand. Our inspirations, thoughts, and ideas are all presented on scraps of paper found everywhere around us.
