So I designed it based on my own idea of what it would look like. I struggled a lot with where to cut the three lines and made several prototypes. As a result, I think we've landed on a balance that is pleasant to look at today. The main frame features three traditional motifs: chrysanthemum pattern, hemp leaf pattern, and arrow pattern. To make the hemp leaves look better, they are cut about twice as finely as usual. The rough cuts in the outline are a modern expression, but the pattern itself is traditional, and I think it successfully blends the past and the present.
