Initially, I was drawn to the beautiful cover of this old book.
After a little research, I found it quite fascinating.
This book details the insect pollination series, focusing on the "Glass Flowers" within the Harvard University Botanical Museum's collection.

The "Glass Flowers," the internationally acclaimed Blaschka glass models, are among Harvard University's most treasured collections.
Czech glass artisans Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka created over 780 plant species, encompassing more than 4,300 individual glass flower models.

Here is my amateur translation of the text from the first page:
This collection of glass plant models
reflects the artistic and scientific endeavors of Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka.
Perhaps no museum in the world possesses a comparable collection,
for it not only showcases exquisite skill with a difficult medium
but also documents the complete output of a studio and two artists, naturalists within a museum.
The result of nearly half a century of effort,
Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka were not merely glassworkers but naturalists, and thus their models are a fusion of artistic ability and scientific interpretation.
The genesis of the Blaschka glass model collection dates back to 1886,
when serious consideration was given to the nature of exhibits to be developed in the new botanical museum building.
Although the building was not completed until 1890,
Professor George Lincoln Goodale, who had planned and raised a significant portion of the funds to cover construction costs, recognized that
the success of the museum's exhibits would be questionable without something more.
In contrast to the usual displays of woods, fibers, seeds, and medicinal plants, the "Glass Flowers" could arouse public interest.
He hoped that in one of the rooms, a systematic arrangement of plants could be employed, analogous to the ordered arrangement of animals in the Museum of Comparative Zoology.
