While it may appear very different from our previous business styles, it's a direction we've long wanted to explore. For the upper, we've continued with local handcrafted stitching and selected robust Taiwanese leather. However, to differentiate the aesthetic from our previous business series, we specifically sought out leather with a thicker substance and a slightly rougher texture. This is paired with a more rounded last to better align with the fundamental characteristics of casual footwear. Regarding the sole, we've moved away from the heel-sole format used uniformly before. We've opted for a lighter yet still wear-resistant special rubber, developed with a flat sole approach akin to sneakers. To maintain overall balance, you'll notice the sole is designed to be thinner at the front and thicker at the back, providing enhanced cushioning and protection to the heel, which bears greater impact.
