Have you ever set aside clothes with fallen seams, loose buttons, or detached hooks because you didn't know how to make simple repairs yourself or for your family?
In recent years, the rise of fast fashion has transformed and impacted many consumers' habits regarding purchasing and wearing clothes. It's a shame that many garments are discarded before they even show signs of wear.
However, regardless of how fast fashion influences our lives, there will always be cherished items we wish to preserve or continue wearing daily. Despite our best efforts, clothes inevitably need mending. This includes shirts or coats with insecure buttons, dropped hems on trousers or skirts, split seams creating holes, or even the desire to alter lengths.
Through online courses focusing on different hand-sewing techniques, this program is designed for complete beginners interested in learning to sew. The goal is to acquire and apply fundamental hand-sewing skills for practical applications, such as simple garment repairs at home.
This online course focuses solely on basic hand-sewing techniques. You will create practical samples as you practice, which can be used for future self-review.
