Dioscorea opposita yam dye | Patchwork summer cloth bag The bag is double-layered, with summer cloth (handwoven ramie) inside and out. The inner layer is a lighter shade, and it can also be worn inside out (see the last image). Summer cloth has many advantages: it's structured and stylish, durable yet lightweight. Despite its generous size, this bag is incredibly light, placing no burden on your shoulders. The button is a handmade ebony piece, its irregularity adding a unique charm. Bag body: 46cm long, 41cm wide. Strap length is adjustable, 5.5cm wide. Model height: 155cm. The dyeing process uses Dioscorea opposita yam dye, which, like persimmon dye, requires sun exposure for color development. It involves repeated immersion and sun-drying over two to three weeks; the longer the process, the deeper the color. This is a one-of-a-kind bag, photographed as is. What you see is what you get.
