Japlish is a portmanteau of "Japanese" and "English," meaning "loanwords of Japanese origin." The name embodies our aspiration to "create leather goods from Japan for the world." In addition to online sales, we have gained experience through various ventures, including sales at department stores in Hakata Station and collaborations with popular characters. Currently, two artisans handcraft each item at our studio in Sanno, Hakata Ward. We exclusively use domestically produced cowhide leather.
