Embroidery patches are commonly known as embroidered patches, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered emblems. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere, typically for decorating fabric items or mending holes in clothing. Our HiHi embroidery patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidery patches? Using HiHi embroidery patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they adhere securely! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron back and forth for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool and set firmly. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure a secure attachment! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you are uncertain about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure them. This will prevent high temperatures from damaging your fabric! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will they fall off easily? HiHi embroidery patches have a sufficiently strong adhesive. They adhere well to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces and are not likely to fall off. If attaching to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron and sew them on for reinforcement to increase durability. 🏷 Will the embroidery patches come off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidery patches can be machine washed without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidery patches be reapplied? The adhesive on HiHi embroidery patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend confirming the placement before sticking them on. If you peel them off after attachment and wish to reuse them, the embroidered fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric items for decoration using a sewing machine or by hand! 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidery patches? The adhesive on the embroidery patches is strong, so some residue may remain after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before cleaning, please check if your item's surface material is suitable for the cleaning agent to avoid damaging your item! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on embroidery patches can melt with heat, becoming stickier and harder to remove!
