Culottes – Free and Abstract Width

I've always wanted to create a pair of culottes, a style that embodies freedom. (Width) Completed during the summer, it felt like a wonderful beginning. Because it needed to have a curve, giving the pants a slightly voluminous feel, I added several pleats to the waist stitching. The specially designed curve of the pockets reveals a glimpse of their color, adding a delightful touch, much like filling in a corner in a drawing. The width of the pants reminds me of abstract lines, finding a sense of direction within a flurry of sketches. An unbroken line, stretching from left to right, like Sashiko embroidery, steadily moving forward. I absolutely adore wearing them now!
