2022 Meow-velous Taiwan Soul - Purr-fectly Cool T-Shirt

Unleash your inner tiger! Our first drop for the Year of the Tiger 2022 features the beloved "Taiwan Soul" series, astonishingly named "Meow-velous." The inspiration for this collection came from a mysterious voice. The designer's computer was in sleep mode when, one morning, a hacker named Neo infiltrated the screen, and a voice emanated from the speakers: "Meow, just make the clothes." Upon careful examination of the design, we identified five feline species native to Taiwan: the Tiger Lord, the Formosan clouded leopard, the leopard cat, the Taiwanese lion, and the black cat sister. And so, we affectionately named them: "Meow-velous Taiwan Soul: Purr-fectly Cool T-Shirt" This is the absolute truth. Happy New Year, and thank you all. #TheTiger Lord is a guardian deity for children in folk beliefs, hence the T-shirt comes in children's sizes. #Don't ask why a fierce tiger meows. #Don't ask why we're releasing T-shirts in winter. 【The Story of Taiwan Soul】 The "Taiwan Soul" series is a cornerstone of our "Chong Zu" brand. It originated from the "Taiwan Soul Say Yes To Taiwan" concerts held by the Chong Zu crew between 2000 and 2007. These concerts, centered around themes of opposing annexation, anti-authoritarianism, and the normalization of Taiwan as a nation, featured artists such as Chthonic, Fire EX., WOBB., Tizzy Bac, 1976, Da Zhi, Pan Gu, and more. The distinctive, spirited font of "Taiwan Soul" was deeply cherished by the audience, evolving from a concert logo into an independent brand. It has since spawned merchandise like flags, T-shirts, and badges, and over the years, has been used to launch related products and fundraising campaigns supporting Taiwanese consciousness, marriage equality, and human rights movements.
