Unlike PU or patent leather that appear flawless, vegetable-tanned leather is natural and eco-friendly. It retains unique textures and markings from the animal's growth process, such as scars, insect marks, growth lines, veins, etc. These are not defects. During processing, shipping, and crafting, minor indentations or scratches may occur, which we consider normal as long as the leather surface is not damaged. Out of respect for life and natural materials, we do not (and cannot) completely avoid these unless they are significant wounds. Please consider this carefully if you are sensitive to such markings.
