Okunoshima, Japan, commonly known as Rabbit Island,
was once a base for manufacturing poison gas during wartime.
Now, due to human introduction, it has become a gentle island teeming with rabbits.
These beautiful creatures can be encountered amidst the remains of fortifications, on the beaches, and along forest paths.
Their vibrant life force has not only given the island a new beginning but also heals our hearts.
