They also offer stamp carving workshops and refer to themselves as a "stamp carving professional." Currently residing in Taiwan, Chamil works diligently from an old apartment in Taipei, creating and producing stamps. Previously, they worked as an editor for magazines and books at a publishing house, and now focuses exclusively on stamp design. Each season, handcrafted original stamps are released, with published collections numbered 1-8, featuring over 100 stamps in volume 8. Their published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stamp Carving: Next Stamp Class." Using erasers as the primary material for carving, each stamp is slowly crafted with deliberate strokes. Stamp designs often combine everyday observations, landscapes and encounters from travels, and cherished interests (including text, florals, geometrics, nature, architecture, etc.). These elements are then deconstructed and reassembled, utilizing multi-point line and surface intersections, complemented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and frequently used component symbols to form the stamp imagery. Chamil enjoys pairing stamps and colors, orchestrating solo performances, collaborations, and repetitions between large and small stamps. Many graphic designs are also derived from snippets of stamps, extended through stamping and combinations to create designs for items such as postcards and washi tape.
