These are fragments of vessels or similar items, polished and drilled. "Silvery" refers to a sparkling iridescence that forms due to a chemical reaction between the glass's components and the soil's elements after being buried for centuries. This phenomenon doesn't occur in all glass that has been buried for a long time; it appears only when several conditions align. The silvery sheen can be observed with different characteristics on both sides. (The reverse side has patina and deposits, likely concealing the silvery effect underneath.) Small chips are visible. The intrinsic color of the glass is a deep blue-green. The silvery iridescence appears depending on how light hits it.
