What is the wood-firing process?** American, Japanese, and Miaoli clays are mixed in various proportions. The creation process involves purely hand-pinching (not wheel-throwing) to gradually form the shape, followed by refining the lines of the body and then polishing to complete the initial form. Once placed in the kiln, the pieces undergo a five-day, four-night continuous wood-firing process using natural longan wood and acacia wood. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a distinctive ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame patterns within the kiln flow between the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. After five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! What should discerning customers note?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photography lighting. As each piece is meticulously handcrafted, there will inevitably be traces of the maker's touch and texture. Minor variations may occur during the firing process, such as slight irregularities in the rim or minor production scratches, which are considered normal and do not affect usability.
