**Kalimantan Agarwood | Top-tier Xingzhou Region - Rich & Cool Aroma**
Within the Xingzhou agarwood producing regions, Kalimantan agarwood has long been recognized as a benchmark for high-quality agarwood. Located in Indonesian Borneo, the vast island is approximately fifteen times the size of Taiwan but boasts a relatively sparse population. This allows for the preservation of extensive virgin rainforests, creating an ideal environment for the growth and resin formation of natural agarwood trees.
In recent years, due to over-harvesting, the yield of natural Kalimantan agarwood has rapidly declined. Agarwood that develops high oil content and exquisite fragrance has become exceedingly rare. High-quality Kalimantan agarwood circulating in today's market is often found through serendipity and holds significant collectible value.
Kalimantan agarwood's aroma is characterized by its deep richness. Upon first encounter, a distinct woody agarwood scent emerges, followed by a natural cooling sensation and balsamic notes. Some older pieces may even reveal a gentle floral-fruity sweetness. The overall fragrance is layered, warm, and substantial, offering a scent that remains pleasing over time and is cherished by both agarwood connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
Currently, Kalimantan aged agarwood, aged over thirty years, is even more precious. These pieces are often preserved by collectors from previous generations. Matured over time, their aroma becomes more refined and stable. Available online, these treasures can be browsed and acquired with confidence by discerning collectors. Whether for daily appreciation or long-term collection, they offer exceptional value.

Artist: Kwood
https://images2.imgbox.com/66/c6/wVo3QFy7_o.jpeg
Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, Kwood's background in craft design led him to wander the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused ancient alleyways with warm, profound vitality. Objects that seemed like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and hints of the future, sought a delicate balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into intricate works that intimately connect a new generation's perspective with the simplicity of the past. Agarwood, once ground into powder for incense, was traditionally placed in revered, sunlit areas of Japanese homes, symbolizing vitality and brightness.
Sourced directly from its origin, this agarwood is pure and unblemished, free from artificial enhancements like glue, coloring, or synthetic fragrances. It is presented in its most authentic form. Through ancient techniques, the artist meticulously peels away the outer layer of aged wood by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This process not only imbues it with timeless vitality but also harmoniously blends tradition and contemporary craftsmanship at the fingertips, creating a feast for both the eyes and the senses. Its rich aroma is like a condensation of time, gently drawing together past memories and future aspirations, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, extending continuously, far and profound.
