It is located in Jianzi Village and Dongxiyan Village, Quyang City, Baoding City, Hebei Province. This area was under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou during the Tang and Song Dynasties, so it was named Ding Kiln. It was founded in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Northern Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, and ended in the Yuan Dynasty. Ding kiln is a large porcelain kiln system that emerged after the Xing kiln white porcelain in the Tang Dynasty. It is famous for producing white porcelain. It covers the white porcelain body with a layer of high-temperature colored glaze, and also fires black glaze, sauce glaze and green glaze porcelain. Historical documents call them "Heiding", "Ziding" and "Lvding" respectively. Ding Kiln was already a famous porcelain field during the Tang Dynasty. From this period until the Five Dynasties, the main shapes of Ding Kiln porcelain were bowls. Although they were relatively simple, they were still in the stage of development towards fine porcelain. In the middle and late Five Dynasties, Ding kiln white porcelain underwent a radical change. The fired porcelain was no longer coated with clay, and the body and glaze showed fine and white characteristics. Its whiteness even surpassed the fine white porcelain of Xing kiln. The Song Dynasty was the heyday of the development of Ding kiln. Its porcelain was exquisite, elegant in color, and beautiful in pattern. Therefore, it was selected by the Song Dynasty court as porcelain for the court. Its value greatly increased, and the products became popular for a while. When the poet Su Dongpo was in Dingzhou, he used the poem "Dingzhou flower porcelain is carved with red jade" to praise the beauty of Ding kiln porcelain. ◤Features: Generally speaking, the porcelain body of Ding kiln is dense and delicate, and the glaze is thin. The color of the body can be seen in the thin glaze. The fetus is thin and slightly light, and the color of the fetus is white but slightly ivory yellow. This small Ding kiln vessel has a beautiful shape and moist glaze color. The inside and outside of the container are glazed, and the base is exposed and unglazed. A closer look at the vessel's abdominal circumference shows glaze dripping, also known as tear stains. This phenomenon is caused by uneven glaze application and the glaze hanging down and flowing along with the vessel during the firing process. Most of the flowing glazes on Ding porcelain are strip-shaped, like weeping tears. The phenomenon of tear marks is only seen on Ding kiln porcelain in the Northern Song Dynasty. Ding kiln wares produced from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties do not have the characteristic of tear marks. ◤Material: Porcelain ◤Size: diameter about 2 cm; bottom diameter about 4 cm; height about 4 cm; belly width about 18 cm ◤Weight: 57 g ◤Price: $4,800/piece ◤Origin: China ◤Quantity: This is the only one, a Ding kiln vessel with hundreds of years of history, worthy of collection by ancient porcelain lovers The maintenance methods of porcelain are as follows: 1. Wash by hand when cleaning, because the glaze of porcelain is delicate and can be easily scratched. Remember not to use a rough cloth to clean the porcelain surface to avoid scratches. 2. Clean the porcelain with water. The water temperature should not exceed 70 degrees, and do not soak the porcelain in hot water for too long to avoid affecting the appearance of the porcelain. 3. After cleaning the porcelain, let it air dry naturally or wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not put it in drying equipment such as high-temperature sterilization cupboards. 4. If there are stains on the porcelain, it is best to wash them off immediately. Do not let the stains stay on the porcelain for a long time. If the porcelain is stained by tea or coffee, you can use lemon juice or vinegar to clean it. 5. When cleaning porcelain in winter, the water temperature needs to be controlled to prevent the porcelain from exploding due to freezing or exposure to hot water. It is best to use wooden or plastic basins to clean porcelain. Avoid using porcelain and Cement basins to avoid damage to the porcelain. ※Old items that are more than ten years old are brand new and unused.
