Ana Ramirez's farm is located in the suburb of San Marcos Huista, the northern village of Huehuetenango, next to Mexico, at an altitude of about 1,800 meters and a size of about 0.4 hectares. The annual output is about 1,800 kilograms.
Ana is now the farmer at the age of 28, and she runs the farm with two other sisters. At first, they were out of place in a coffee farmer with an average age of 55. Because it can't be integrated into the group, coffee can only be sold to the cheapest local coffee wholesaler. However, under one chance, they joined the Primavera Women's Coffee Farmers Association last year. The high-quality coffee made everyone amazing, and was described by other members as “buried pearls”. Soon, their coffee has been sold to the rest of the world through the promotion of the association, and the three sisters of Ana have also been given greater encouragement, hoping to bring a batch of better coffee to everyone.
