This is an ear cuff featuring Yellow Jacket beads, deep red White Hearts, handmade silver, and Indian silver. The beads with black and yellow stripes are antique Venetian beads called "Yellow Jackets." These are rare beads with a 4-layer chevron structure. In English, the term "yellow jacket" also refers to a type of wasp, and it is said that these beads were named after their resemblance to the insect. These are Venetian beads from around the 19th to 20th century. We have paired them with a deep red hue known as "blood red." The large White Hearts measure 6mm in diameter, a rare size.
