European leather typically has fewer scars and blemishes, making it superior in quality and generally more expensive than American leather. • Genuine leather, like human skin, may occasionally show minor scars or natural growth lines. We will do our best to avoid these during production. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Slight variations in color depth between batches are natural. Vegetable-tanned leather also deepens in color with frequent use, gradually developing a caramel hue over time. • Like human skin, natural leather has pores. It will absorb water, and faint watermarks may appear after air-drying, which is a natural phenomenon. The item is finished with maintenance oil to help reduce water absorption and staining. • Avoid prolonged water immersion. If accidentally wet, allow the leather to air dry in a ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. • Light dirt can be gently wiped with a clean cotton cloth. Deep oil stains are difficult to remove and will gradually become less noticeable over time, so please use with care and embrace any changes with a relaxed attitude! │ Leather Dyeing │ • The series retains the brushstroke texture of hand-dyeing. Through repeated trials, we have achieved our most satisfying shades and color ratios, making each piece unique. • Dyed items will not fade with casual friction, but vegetable-tanned cowhide's color saturation may decrease over time. • Undyed leather is close to beige and will deepen in color and show marks based on individual use and habits, much like a diary recording our life's stories. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care; the oils from your hands nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you can apply leather maintenance oil. • When storing, place in a dry location.
