Pottery dragon scale mug Ceramic handmade mugs

A unique pottery mug with gold dragon scales. This dragon mug was crafted by first throwing the vessel and then adding the texture to create the dragon scale effect and the handle with scale texture. All of our products are handmade in our studio. We start by throwing the clay and then allowing it to completely dry. The piece is then bisque fired, glazed with a safe glaze, and fired again at a high temperature. Perfect for a mug of tea, your morning coffee or a big portion of hot chocolate. Because each mug is individually and completely handmade, the one I'll post to you is going to be a little different in shape and final result of glaze, from the one in the photos.
