The quality is excellent, and the prices are generally not too high (except for certain rare or popular series... like those with snake chains or museum pieces...). Therefore, a wallet in good condition could easily cost the same as a bag in average condition. However! For wallets and small personal accessories, I believe they are even more worth investing in and waiting for a superior condition item. This is because wallets and small accessories are items you use and touch every single day. For bags, apart from everyday work styles, most people tend to keep certain bags for special occasions or choose them based on their mood and outfit. But how often do you really change your wallet? At least, it's unlikely many people switch wallets to match their outfits like they do with bags, right? (Does anyone really change them that often??). Besides needing a replacement, people usually use a wallet until it's worn out or nearing the end of its lifespan before getting a new one. So, wallets are actually the most intimate and frequently used items, followed perhaps by keychains for house or car keys. When it comes to wallets, if you're looking for leather, I absolutely recommend Loewe first. Their styles are simple, the leather is durable and lightweight, and the wallet's dimensions and thickness are slimmer than modern versions! This one in hand is a small round coin purse. The edges are rounded and feature a special light grey-almond edge paint, creating a very subtle and soft contrast that isn't strong. There is absolutely no discoloration, color transfer, or dyeing anywhere. No scratches or indentations. The zipper is normal and smooth. The interior is lambskin, with LOEWE embossing and origin markings inside. There's a small logo on the exterior of the small pouch. However, most modern processes are now machine-made and then assembled by hand. Machine-made parts lack the same level of detail. The most direct way to see this is by comparing the detailed patterns of vintage "monogram" prints with those of modern "revival" models. The level of detail in the monogram patterns alone is completely different. If you love monograms, you must look for pre-owned items! Truly! In terms of style, older eras featured more ✦ simple, timeless, and enduring designs. Many current new designs are actually revivals of older styles. However, new models are priced higher than older ones. Furthermore, new designs are typically based on old models with added or altered elements. Ultimately, the design becomes more complex than the older versions. I believe as you grow older, you understand one thing: the simpler, the more enduring!
