It is part of the Asian fleet and serves as the flagship of the third sub-fleet. It consists of a disc-shaped hull and a separate cylindrical engine bay. The Three-Body Problem is a long-form science fiction novel by Chinese author Liu Cixin published in Science Fiction World magazine from May to December 2006, and published in a single book by Chongqing Publishing House in 2008. After its publication, it became one of the best-selling science fiction novels in China. There are three books in total, The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest and Death's End. The first of which won the Special Award at the 2006 China Science Fiction Galaxy Awards (the 19th edition). It was subsequently translated into English by Chinese-American science fiction and fantasy author Ken Liu(Liu Yu-kun) and Joel Martinsen, and has been translated into over 26 languages worldwide. The Three-Body Problem was nominated for the 2014 Nebula Award by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Long Form Novel. The Three-Body Problem has also been adapted into films, television dramas, animations, comics, stage plays, radio plays and audio novels. Team Green designed and produced the two warships in the story, the Blue Space and the Natural Selection, for the trilogy.
