“Do you still remember that imaginary friend from your childhood?” For several years, illustrator Abei has collaborated with the Taipei Children’s Arts Festival. In 2024, Abei created the theme “Imaginary Friends from Childhood.” At the Taipei Performing Arts Center, we believe that this friend has always been with us—and their name is Art. As we grow up, we learn how to navigate the world and manage our emotions on our own, and somewhere along the way, we may lose touch with that old friend. In the long journey of life, moments of discouragement are inevitable. When they arrive, let us find that friend again. TPAC partners with Abei to launch a limited-edition collaborative collection, transforming this story into a tangible keepsake.
