Vintage Dutch Simplex sewing machine with its original wooden case. The Simplex Automatic Machine Company was founded in 1887, and they produced cars, motorcycles, and bicycles as well as sewing machines. This machine has serial number 3112120 and is estimated to have been manufactured first half of the last century. This sewing machine is in good working order, although, as it is an antique, we recommend using it for decorative purposes. It is in fairly good condition with signs of aging and usage that are representative of its age. The wooden case and the wooden base has some small surface marks due to usage. The metal of the machine has oxidation due to aging and the patterns is worn due to usage. The photographs are a part of the description.
