She is often commissioned to design wine labels for local farms and vineyards. Recently she has been working on various label designs for wine, shrubs and olive oil. "I have also been exploring more abstract pieces, working with cuts and compositions. My abstract pieces are often inspired by my collected memories of spaces and interiors." It’s obvious that Max’s work as an artist is heavily inspired by her love of food and the countryside surrounding Auvergne, France, where she hopes to one day settle. My images of the region often include table settings, plates and wine bottles," she says. "Auvergne is where I feel most at home and inspired.
