Marlle Zueen), originates from the Solomon Islands. Introduced to the Dutch flower market in 2007, it's a specially cultivated horticultural variety. Its striking white variegation on the leaves is its most captivating feature, making it a highly popular and endlessly admired indoor plant. Many of the White Platinum Pothos' characteristics are similar to the common Pothos, making it easy to care for and tolerant of shade. However, unlike the common Pothos, it is not a vining plant and doesn't require frequent pruning. Its growth rate is slower than that of the common Pothos or the Lime Green Pothos, with shorter internodes and denser foliage. In very dim conditions, the white variegation on its leaves may become less pronounced. For the most beautiful appearance, it is recommended to place it in a brighter spot indoors. The White Platinum Pothos is well-suited for any space in your home or office. A common way to display it is by placing it on a high surface and allowing its stems to cascade downwards. As the leaves hang from above, they tend to grow smaller, enhancing the natural ambiance of your interior. This White Platinum Pothos is cultivated using hydroponic methods, paired with a simple, understated circular cement planter. It makes for a striking decorative piece indoors. | Light | Tolerant of shade, but prolonged insufficient light can cause the variegation to disappear, turning the leaves uniformly green and causing them to lose their luster. Therefore, periodically moving it to a location with some indirect light will promote better growth. | Water Changes & Replenishment | Hydroponic plants require regular water changes to prevent the water quality from deteriorating over time. Generally, changing the water once a week is sufficient. If you notice the water level in the test tube is low at any time, you can simply add more water to prevent the plant from drying out. | Pruning | Pruning can be done occasionally according to personal preference to maintain its appearance. When the vines grow excessively long, pruning can encourage more robust and lush growth.
