**What is Handmade Pewter Carving?**
Handmade pewter carving is a classic European craft. Pewter has a soft nature and a warm, silvery-white luster. Using only a design and simple pen-like tools, without the need for hammering or fire, you can carve your own unique pewter art, stroke by stroke!

● In this activity, you will learn:
__Basic Pewter Carving Process__
(1) Design sketching (2) Transferring the design to pewter sheet (3) Creating relief on the pewter sheet (4) Texturing the background (5) Filling (6) Antiquing (7) Adhering the pewter piece to the base
__Basic Pewter Carving "Relief" Techniques__
Includes: (1) Hard pen relief (2) Soft pen relief (3) Decorative relief. By alternating the use of pen-like tools and soft/hard mats, different levels of relief can be achieved, giving the design a three-dimensional and layered effect.
__Using Pewter Carving Tools__
Includes: Rollers, fine rollers, ballpoint pens, lining pens, Teflon pens, etc. You will experience and learn how and when to use these tools during the class.
**You can choose to color or polish your finished pewter carving according to your personal preference, creating a vintage look or preserving the silvery-white effect of the pewter!**

**Materials and Tools**
● Pewter sheet - approx. 7x7cm
● Base - Round compact mirror, approx. 6cm in diameter (rose gold, may have minor scratches. Perfectionists, please choose another class).
● All tools and necessary consumables are free to use during the class. A velvet pouch and small tote bag will be provided!
● **The eyes of the swallow can be adorned with rhinestones of different colors.** Blue, green, purple, and white are available. Early birds get to choose first. Please message us privately if you have any questions.

Initially accompanying my child to a clay class, I unexpectedly discovered my passion for crafting and began exploring various mediums. During my pewter carving studies, I experienced the joy of seeing the pewter sheet take shape through embossing with tools, followed by refining the edges. The moment of completion brought a sense of "**WOW**"! As the patterns gradually emerged, I found a sense of peace and happiness. Through several exhibitions, I combined pewter carving with clay succulents. The elegance of pewter, paired with the vibrant succulents, made the works more captivating and offered a fresh perspective. I hope to promote pewter carving as a handicraft, allowing more people to discover and experience the beauty of handmade pewter art!

Notify us of cancellation 7 days prior to the activity (excluding the activity day), and receive a full refund.
Notify us of cancellation between 6 days and 4 days prior to the activity (excluding the activity day), and receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 3 days prior to the activity or on the day of the activity are not accepted and will not be refunded.
If you choose to withdraw from the activity due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be issued.
We recommend transferring your spot if you need to cancel within 6 days prior to the activity. However, please be sure to inform us of the name and contact information of the substitute participant.
In case of force majeure events such as natural disasters, we will proactively contact you to reschedule or issue a refund.
Date Change Policy:
Date changes can be made between 6 days and 4 days prior to the activity (excluding the activity day), but only one change is allowed.
If there is a price difference after the change, the difference will be refunded or paid accordingly.
Activities that have been rescheduled cannot be canceled.
