Kaohsiung Museum Bookstore Anthropocene Special Exhibition T-Shirt

The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts presents the annual special exhibition, "Anthropocene - The Human Epoch," aspiring to deeply embed sustainability issues in people's hearts through the power of art. This exhibition is a collaboration between the Art Gallery of Ontario, the National Gallery of Canada, and the MAST Foundation in Bologna, Italy. It features works by internationally renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky and acclaimed documentary directors Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier, presenting humanity's impact on Earth through captivating imagery, films, and AR experiences. Following its exhibition in Canada, this show has toured Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Argentina from 2020-2023. This Taiwanese leg of the tour marks the first time local artists Chi Po-lin, Yang Shun-fa, Lucas, and Lu Yu-ru have been included, inviting us, as global citizens, to explore the impact of human-made landscapes and geological changes on Earth within the "Anthropocene."
