Each piece is handcrafted from the clay kneading and shaping to the bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, using a small electric kiln and potter’s wheel in my home studio. The base of the cup has been sanded to minimize any potential scratching on your table surfaces. I explore various glazes and clays, constantly seeking the best combinations, and create a diverse range of pottery in various colors and forms. To address this, we apply a watertight treatment using a sealant for tableware before shipping, so there is no need for initial soaking (medome). This watertight treatment requires 2-3 days, which is why our shipping period is set at 5 days from order placement. If you do not require the watertight treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Due to the characteristics of the glaze colors, they may appear whiter under morning light or white fluorescent lamps, and exhibit more reddish or yellowish tones under evening light or warm-toned lighting. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are taken and edited to be as true to the actual product as possible.
