Rough white clay that brings out the color of the glaze. Oribe glaze is a traditional Japanese glaze characterized by its deep green color, and black-brown glaze has a rich, delicious-looking color. This bowl was created by combining these elements. Unlike the round, chunky vessels I usually make, I aimed for a sleek and clean appearance. The patterns created by the two types of glaze overlapping, melting and flowing give the vessel a sense of maturity and warmth. The dark tea glaze is applied over a wide area, giving the piece a thick, flowing finish with a Japanese feel reminiscent of matcha and black candy. It is a deep, convenient size. Leafy salads, potato salad, soups, side dishes, cereals, yogurt, etc. It's the perfect size for when you want to serve small items. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, and you can enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand. The vessel you receive will be the same as the product image. In order to avoid damaging your table as much as possible, the contact surface will be sanded down before delivery. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations.
