In 1980, he won the Chinese Painting Award from the Mayor of Tsushima, Japan, and studied under Huang Leisheng, Du Qiyin and Famous teachers such as Liu Qiwei, Li Qimao and Fu Xuanfu once served as the director of China Vision Art Center In 1996, he immigrated to Vancouver, Canada to teach Chinese and Western painting. He held many teacher-student joint exhibitions and solo exhibitions abroad. Returned to Taiwan in 2011 and continued teaching and creating The fifth teacher-student joint exhibition was held in Neihu Software Science Park in 2014 Xing Wanling once planted many peonies in the courtyard of his home in Vancouver.
