Jet Black Roman Glass and Green-Blue Beads, Granulated Brass, and Ethnic Bell Earrings

These earrings feature jet black Roman glass, green-blue beads, granulated brass, and ethnic bells. The Roman glass dates back to the Roman Empire (27 BCE – 395 CE). These beads are made from fragmented pieces of what were once glass bangles, resulting in a slight curve. As they are antique, minor chips are present. (Roman Glass Size: Approx. 1.5cm long, 0.8cm wide - for the larger pieces) The green-blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads, with origins traced back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are unearthed artifacts from Indonesia, dating back to around the 10th century—over 1000 years old! The granulated beads are brass beads crafted by the Benin people of Africa, showcasing incredibly fine craftsmanship. The small bells are components from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan, originally part of decorative items and are considered old stock. They do not produce sound.
