The house of Huang Tian-Lu, built in 1930, is now an officially recognized historical building in Shui Tou community of Kinmen County. According to history, after returning home, Huang built a two-courtyard house with many colorful and splendid tiles containing both, Chinese and Western decorative elements. The tile pattern found here depicts Delphinium, a plant with a short flowering period, as a reminder to seize the moment of eternity.
