As natural dyes are used, the color of the hair elastic may vary slightly depending on when the indigo dyeing was commissioned. The wooden part is smoothly rounded and attached to a hair elastic. Though simple in form, its generous size lends it a distinct presence. Each piece is carefully shaped by hand, resulting in subtle variations, much like smooth stones found in a riverbed. The hair elastic is made from organic cotton and natural rubber, dyed a beautiful blue with indigo. To preserve the color, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight when storing.
