The company functioned as a manufacturer under the name Dan Kasoff, Inc. before beginning to mark its own jewelry as Florenza around 1949-1950. Dan Kasoff created stunningly beautiful decorative pieces. He founded Dan Kasoff Inc. in New York in the early 1940s. In 1945, he launched his branded jewelry, naming it after his mother, Florenza. Florenza's opulent jewelry, often crafted in a Victorian style, is striking and possesses a genuinely mysterious beauty. Each Florenza piece is an absolutely cherished collectible. Florenza consistently used only the finest gemstones from Germany, Austria, and the Orient to create numerous Victorian revival examples, many of which were custom-made for the brand.
