Travelogue Series Illustrated Postcards - Set of 4

‧ Solitude by the Sea Every winter, the mountaintops of this island are draped in a blanket of snow. Few plants brave the cold, save for vibrant crimson berries that emerge from the snow, unique to this season. Their taste, a perfect balance of tart and sweet, is just right for enjoying alone. It’s during this time that I journey here by myself, gazing at distant islands, savoring delicious food, and embracing moments of solitude. ‧ Island Expeditions This land is an archipelago, dotted with numerous islands teeming with diverse flora. Setting sail to explore each one often reveals new and peculiar plants. Perhaps due to the abundance of vegetation, a floral fragrance perpetually perfumes the air. This scent attracts bees, which build nests and produce honey, coating the islands, large and small, in a glistening amber sheen when sunlight touches them. ‧ The Secret Garden Lost on a mountain trek once, I stumbled into a peculiar forest. Beyond the trees, it was alive with a variety of flowers and fruits – roses, marigolds, pineapples, and more. The mist mingled harmoniously with the aromas of blossoms and fruit, and sunlight filtered through the canopy, transforming the forest into a mystical, secret garden that felt like a realm of enchantment. ‧ Lakeside Symphony This lake is embraced by lush foliage, and within its waters grow several cocoa trees. A pair of birds alights on a branch, and as a gentle breeze rustles the leaves, a few fruits drop into the water, creating ripples. These interwoven sounds compose a symphony of blessings, as if the lake itself is serenading them. ------ The illustrations in the Travelogue series are not direct depictions of real landscapes. Yet, as I draw them, they often evoke memories of places I’ve visited, recalling the feelings and inspirations of those moments. It would be wonderful if they could stir similar emotions in you.
