Green onyx, shaped like fluttering leaves. These stones were specially commissioned from a local stone cutter. The marquise-shaped stones have been twisted and then step-cut, with the step-cut applied to both the front and back. This creates a checkerboard-like appearance, especially with transparent stones, where the overlapping cuts create a unique visual effect. They sparkle beautifully when exposed to sunlight. Two stones have been used, set at slightly different lengths. They are positioned so that the tips overlap slightly when hanging straight, creating a varied and dynamic look with each wear. They are also beautiful when layered with a delicate pearl choker.
