Warm, stable, and profound,
it stands as the supreme king among all sandalwood.
Extremely Rare Gem × Rich Aroma × Collector's Choice

Artist: Kwood

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, Kwood comes from a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused warm and profound vitality into old alleyways. Objects that seem like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and contours of the future, find a subtle balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into delicate works that closely connect the vision of a new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Sandalwood, once crushed into powder for fragrance, was solemnly placed in the prime sunlight position in homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
Sandalwood originates from its place of origin, pure and flawless, free from artificial embellishments like boiling glue, drawing lines, or added fragrances. It is presented in its most original form. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layers of dried wood are meticulously peeled away by hand, revealing the true soul of sandalwood. This not only bestows it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to intertwine subtly within the fingertips, creating a feast for the eyes and nose. Its rich aroma is like the condensation of time, gently pulling together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, continuously extending, distant and profound.
