Embroidered patches are often called embroidered fabric stickers, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere and are used to decorate fabric items or mend holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use the embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, and allow it to cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, hand-sewing or machine-sewing the patch on is recommended. 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you are unsure, we recommend machine sewing or hand-sewing the patch on to secure it. This prevents damage from high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive that adheres well to most smooth, non-fabric surfaces and is not prone to peeling. If applying to fabric items (like clothes, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing are recommended for enhanced durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. Please confirm your desired placement before sticking. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the fabric portion can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the embroidered patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with a sticker remover or adhesive remover. Before using any cleaning agent, please check if it is suitable for your item's surface material to avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as heat can melt the adhesive, making it stickier and harder to remove.
