This brooch is embroidered with hydrangeas, the flower of June, using various shades of blue thread. It's a piece that made me realize anew just how many different shades of blue exist.
Beads were added to the center for an extra sparkle.
The resulting piece has a refreshing blue hue that complements both casual and formal attire.
