Riso Card: Winter Tales

#daynightmarespring23 The moment I heard the song ‘Winter Tales’, I knew I had to capture it. It's a song about "losing feelings," written for the sentiment of "when one day, you can no longer see the person you love." If this feeling is sadness, it doesn't quite capture the overwhelming melancholy. Regret doesn't feel quite right either. "Like snow in the shade, not yet fully melted," Perhaps it's a feeling like this, like the remaining snow in the shadows that hasn't melted, of the one left behind and the one who left, as if they've departed yet a trace of their presence lingers in life. No matter where you go, there's a trace, as if they still exist. You can only hide in a corner, feel it, cry silently, and cannot tell anyone. Everything is still frozen in time. Even so, one day you'll probably forget, unconsciously, that longing will always echo in your heart. "You will live forever within me, unable to say goodbye, Walking forward with you, always together." What the song wanted to convey, I felt through its melody and lyrics.
